RAF Mildenhall 'TAPS'

Please note that as of this evening (Monday 22nd May) RAF Mildenhall will be playing the traditional USAF 'TAPS' every evening at 9pm in recognition of both US and UK forces who have been killed in action fighting for their country. They invite local communities to join them in this sombre act of reflection and remembrance which is being introduced to coincide with both the lead up to the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and also the Base's 90th Anniversary: appreciating that not everyone will wish to do so, the broadcast will be at reduced volume and will not be played through loud-speakers close to off-base housing.
