We're aware of emergency road works along the A1101, Beck Row Straight, near the main entrance to RAF Mildenhall. Please plan for extra travel time or consider alternative routes during peak hours, especially from 0700-0900 and 1600-1800, as delays are expected.

Connecting Communities supply transport in rural areas for those who are unable to access regular public transport.

Please note that between Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st October 2024, aircraft from RAF Mildenhall will be conducting exercises, including winching operations, at RAF Sculthorpe and RAF Mildenhall with NATO partners to improve coordination with our key allies: most of this training will occur between about 2pm and 8pm daily. National Highways are carrying out a scheme to improve grassland biodiversity along the A11 corridor between Mildenhall and Thetford. To complete the final phase of this three-year project, they'll be carrying out environmental work within the verge at six sites along this stretch of the A11. This will encourage a range of plant species to mature.
